This contract is between the puppy buyer and seller as are named below.
Terms and Conditions:
Legitimate Breeder
The Seller represents and warrants to the Buyer that the Puppy has been bred thoroughly and humanely and that the source of the Puppy is a legitimate breeder of such breeds of dog.
Puppy’s Health
The Puppy has been reared and cared for from birth until the Point of Sale with due diligence by the Seller. The Seller has taken charge of taking the Puppy for visits to the veterinarian and for all required vaccinations and supplements.
Deposits
Deposit for said puppy is due immediately in order to secure the purchase of the puppy.
Total Costs
The Seller shall sell and the Buyer shall buy the Puppy for a total amount of: Fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00), payable on or before the Point of Sale.
Delivery and Shipment
Buyer will travel to the seller’s kennel to pick up their puppy. Cost for travel is at the buyer’s expense.
If the puppy is to be shipped the cost for shipment by air is $ __________ using _______________ air lines.
Veterinary Visit Within 48 Hours
Thereafter the purchase and sale of the Puppy, the Buyer shall be afforded twenty-four (48) hours to bring the Puppy to a Licensed Veterinarian and have the Puppy examined by the same for any health issues.
Return and Refund
In the event that the Veterinarian discovers any health issues with the Puppy that the Seller has not first and foremost disclosed to the Buyer prior to the purchase and sale of the Puppy, the Buyer shall have the right to return the Puppy and request for a refund of the payment.
Waiver / Amendment
No waivers, amendments, and/or modifications to this Contract shall be deemed valid and/or binding unless expressed in writing and agreed upon and signed voluntarily by both the Seller and the Buyer.
Force Majeure
Non-performance by either party shall be excused if and only performance is rendered impossible by strike, fire, flood, earthquake, or governmental acts, orders, or restrictions.
